Coins are ChatMet's in-app currency for longer sessions once your free matches run out. You never need them to start, and free matches from the Reward Center keep arriving whether or not you ever buy any.

  • Optional
  • Bought only by you
  • Free matches still refill
  • Support by email

What do coins actually pay for?

Coins let you keep matching and chatting after your free matches are used up. They are a digital item tied to your ChatMet account, not cash, and they cannot be withdrawn or transferred to another person.

Because coins live on an account, you will be asked to sign in before buying. That way your balance follows you to another device instead of disappearing with a cleared browser.

How coins fit around your free matches

Free matches are always spent first. A starter batch comes with every new account, and the Reward Center above the matching screen adds more at intervals while you are online. Coins become relevant only once those are gone and you still want more time.

Plenty of people never buy coins at all and simply use what the Reward Center gives them. That is a perfectly normal way to use ChatMet. The free vs. paid page has a side-by-side table.

Buying coins safely

Only buy coins inside ChatMet itself, from the official top-up screen. Payments go through established payment providers, and your full card number never reaches our servers.

  • Check the pack size and price on the confirmation screen before you pay.
  • ChatMet staff never request passwords or card numbers inside a chat, full stop.
  • Ignore anyone selling "cheap coins" or offering coin generators. Report them.

Something went wrong with a purchase?

Write to [email protected] listing the payment date, the amount, and your ChatMet login method. We will trace the payment and explain what happened. Refund questions follow our terms of service.

Asked often

questions, answered.

Written the way people actually type them.

Do I need coins to use ChatMet?

No. ChatMet is free to start, and the Reward Center keeps adding free matches while you are online. Coins are for longer sessions after free matches run out.

Can I get ChatMet coins for free?

Coins only come from topping up. What you get for free is matches: some when you join, and more from the Reward Center several times a day.

Why do I need to sign in to buy coins?

Coins are tied to an account so your balance follows you to other devices and is not lost if your browser data is cleared.

Can I transfer coins to someone else?

No. Coins belong to the account that bought them and cannot be moved or cashed out.

Who do I contact about a coin purchase?

Email [email protected] with the time, amount and your account sign-in method.
